who am i ?

Am Maé Chamakh a 29 years old silicone artist making realistic penis prosthetic. 

Am an french artist and a trans masculine person who offers to mainly ftm/non-binary people affected by genital dysphoria penis prosthetics to feel confident in their bodies by removing (or reducing) this burden.

As an affected person myself, I know how hard it can be to fully live your gender identity when something is missing. That's why I decided to use my talents and know-how to create realistic, functional artistic prosthetics.

I started this journey 5 years ago when I realized that the socks I stuffed my underwear with would never replace the feeling of a penis. I knew that the penile prostheses available on the market did not fit me and that I would never be physically complete unless a magic wand were waved.

After meeting in 2020 a person from our very dear queer community and certified prosthetist, we were able to test many ways of designing prosthetics, she added to this project techniques and visions of development that will remain in the soul of the project.

This is how the project was born, from dissatisfaction comes the satisfaction of creating and reinventing oneself.

I work exclusively from my home studio and correspond via email.

When I'm not making prosthetics, I love reading science fiction/science books, macarons and thinking about more eco-friendly alternatives for our dear planet! :)
